Message from Alex, PY2SEX – If everything runs ok, I will be operating from Svalbard (EU-026) during Xmas (24th and 25th December). I will try to cover all HF bands mainly on CW as well as 6m.

Now in Svalbard there is no daylight until the end of January, thus I believe that low bands will be easier to make some DX; of course if no Aurora comes up. I’m going exactly to watch the Aurora, spending 7 days there but only 2 dedicated to radio, so if Aurora happens and no QSOs, I will be happy anyway, radio comes after that!

I don’t know if there is internet connection, anyway I will upload the logs to Club Log and LoTW as soon as possible. Call sign could be JW/DL1NX | JW/PY2SEX or JW????. I’m still trying get information with LA operators – if there’s anyone with infos about getting a call sign there I do appreciate that.
