GB1STB will be activated march 17/18 as part of National Science Week, by members of worcester radio amateur association, from st barnabas primary school, worcester. This is a demonstration station for years 5/6 to go on the air and get to grips with morse keys and understanding how radio waves travel - real physics live in the classroom! Equipment will be a kenwood t2000 at 200w feeding a 204 foot doublet and also a tribander on a 60 foot tower, mostly working 40m.
