GB1BAF is a special event station run by Llanelli Amateur Radio Society from their HQ at the Swiss Valley Community Centre near the town of Llanelli in South Wales. The event is to commemorate the "British Armed Forces". The GB1BAF callsign will run on 2 separate dates during the year, these are in conjunction with both the Armed Forces Day and also Remembrance Sunday as shown: The Armed Forces Day event will be held on Saturday 27th June 2015, we will be active with a 12 Hour "On The Air" Fundraising Event with any Funds raised going to the "Help for Heroes" Charity. The Remembrance Sunday event will be held on Sunday 8th November 2015, we will be active with a 12 Hour "On The Air" Fundraising Event with any Funds raised again going to the "Help for Heroes" Charity.
