Hara Arena, the home of Hamvention since 1964, is closing, and next year’s event will be held at a new location in the Dayton area, namely the Greene County Fair & Exposition Center in Xenia. "Please rest assured we will have the event on the same weekend [19-21 May, Ed.]”, the Hamvention General Chairman said, “and, since it will be in the region, the current accommodations and outside events already planned for Hamvention 2017 should not be affected".
