Henry "Doc" Van Kets, ON4IZ passed away on 29 September at the age of 86. Born in 1938 and licensed since he was 16 years old, he was a gynecologist at the University of Ghent Medical School. His studies and a demanding professional life limited his involvement in the hobby, and it was not until he retired in 1998 that he had more time for amateur radio. He was still very active in SSB and particularly CW (FOC member #2069), and his primary interests were HF DXing and IOTA chasing. He was on the DXCC Honor Roll with 340/381 (current/total) credited Entities in the Mixed standings, and on the IOTA Honour Roll with 1114 island groups confirmed. [TNX ON5NT]
