The 10th World Radio Sport Team Championship will be hosted by the United Kingdom, and will tale place in the area known as East Anglia, in the East of England, on 7-13 July 2026.
The qualification criteria are still being determined. It is already known, however, that the first and final qualification events will be this year's CQ WW DX SSB Contest (28-29 October) and the 2025 ARRL DX SSB Contest (1-2 March), respectively. Bookmark https://www.wrtc2026.org/ for updates.

The WRTC 2026 Organising Committee has announced the Selection Criteria for entrants: https://www.wrtc2026.org/selection-criteria/.
Everyone interested in qualifying for WRTC 2026 must do so by operating in a variety of contests between October 2023 and March 2025. There will be 15 qualifying events (with the 8 best scores counting), and 42 qualifying teams across 30 Qualification Areas. In addition to the geographically selected teams, the Defending Champions, 4 Youth Teams (entrants must be under age 26 at 11 July 2026), at least 2 Sponsored Teams, and at least 1 Wild Card Team will be invited.

The WRTC 2026 Competition Rules have been approved and published: https://www.wrtc2026.org/2025/02/10/wrtc-uk-competition-rules/. In a nutshell: the event will be a Multi-2 style competition; CW and SSB contacts with the same location will score equal points. "Small changes from earlier WRTC rules are primarily aimed to ensure the competition is a test of opera-
tor skills as much as possible".
